EMF Systems has manufactured a wide range of phase locked DROs for various applications. The DRO has to a large extent replaced the cavity oscillator and the crystal oscillator multiplier for obtaining frequencies in the high GHz range. The Dielectric resonator is compact and can be screwed down or glued down securely making it ideal for severe environments. Internal voltage regulators and isolators are used in most units to provide isolation from noisy DC supplies and bad VSWR loads. A lock alarm is also provided to indicate that the oscillator is maintaining lock. EMF can custom design an oscillator to meet your requirements.
